Today marks four months of biking to work.
Weight is ... uh ... 217. It ain't coming off like I was hoping it would. But I'm noticably thinner, much more than the 8-pound loss alone would account for, so I'm happy. I'm now at 22.6% body fat. Plus, I have actual muscle definition in my calves. Woohoo.
For the curious, here's a map of my route, courtesy of a way-cool Google Maps application that Paul found. Yeah, I cut through the HEB parking lot.
The ride to work is 6.1 miles, so I think I need to find a longer route to ride on weekends. I tried one a couple of weeks ago: Parmer & McNeil to 620, 620 to I35, I35 to McNeil, then McNeil back to Parmer and home. 15.1 miles, took me almost exactly one hour. Here's a map of that route.
